Roman-Style Sourdough · Hamilton, Ontario
Authentic Roman-style slab pizza, made with a 48-hour sourdough and ingredients we know by name.
Our Story
Flora is a Roman-style pizzeria on the corner of James South and Young Street in Hamilton, Ontario. We believe great pizza begins long before the oven — in the slow fermentation of our sourdough, in the care we take with every topping, and in the relationships we build with local producers.
Our dough cold-ferments for 48 hours, developing a lightness and complexity you can taste in every bite. Every pizza is made by hand, fired to order, and cut into the generous Roman slices that started it all.
One size, six generous slices, feeding 2–3 comfortably. Whole pies or half-and-half. Slices available from open till sold out.
Our dough cold-ferments for two days, developing a complex, bubbly structure and the signature light-yet-crisp Roman crust.
All our meat comes from J. Waldron Butchers — responsibly reared animals, locally raised. We know our producers.
Every Wednesday we run a different surprise sandwich. One day only, until it's gone. Follow us on Instagram to stay in the loop.
